ABOUT ME AND BRITT'S CREATIONS
Welcome to my page. My name is Britt and I love sewing.
My parents immigrated from Germany to South Africa when my mother was pregnant with me. I grew up in Johannesburg but now live on a farm in the Free State, a province in the centre of South Africa.
I started sewing at an early age and completed my first wearable garment at the age of 11. My sister and her collection of dolls were my first models.
I have sewn for others for many years and most of my clients are people with non-standard sizes.
This presents a challenge as patterns need to be modified accordingly. While helping these customers I noticed that there was a need for bras and underwear too.
This is where my passion was discovered!
I love creating well-fitting bras and swimwear for my customers and so a new market was born…..
